Our Holiday Trip to Annapolis

It is impossible for me to think of Annapolis without thinking about boats, boats of every type. Boaters of every type too. So imagine our surprise and pleasure when on the 8th of Dec, 2001 the boaters of Annapolis dressed up and went on a nighttime parade.

On the other hand, we found boaters RACING on the 9th of Dec.!!! and some of them were in surfing boats like the Laser and the Sweet 16!

There is a park at the base of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge that affords a wonderful view of both bay and bridge

And of course the downtown shopping area is wonderful

I'm still not sure how they drove all of the way here from Hawaii but at least they showed some spirit
