In the category of OOPS!!!

This is a picture of a boat that ran aground on Lake Perry the weekend of 4/26. The photo was taken just SW of the Dam. No one was injured but one power boater had some explaining to do to his insurance company.  As I heard it he went below to use the bathroom leaving the boat to navigate for herself and this was what happened while he was gone

On June 30, 2000 Lake Perry celebrated the 4th of July with the traditional fireworks.  This boat apparently was not going fast enough for one of the power boats on the lake.

I am not sure what the cause was but the results are pretty frightening.
